The unbelievable journey God has led me on
Not exactly sure why, but this afternoon I needed to remember. I started at the beginning and began to read the journey. The unbelievable journey God has led me on. In the last two years since I have been back in the states, God has continued to move in my life. Opened up hundreds of doors, introduced me to a whole new community of friends, and has continued to strengthen me in ways I never knew were needed. I've seen God move in my church, my shop and my community.
Today as I read my stories, starting before I left for Albania and ending many years later as I came back from Poland, tears lingered on my face. For I could never have imagined where God would lead me or how He would one day use me. But here I am looking at all the unbelievable miraculous things that He has done and can not help but Praise God. Praise God for the thousand of times I saw Him move mountains. Praise God for continuing to lead me even when I fail. Also, Praise God that the journey is not over.
I no longer live in a far away world, every materialistic thing I could ever want is seconds away from me, and I no longer struggle with language barriers. But that does not mean that God is through with me, and that definitely does not mean my passion for missions has died. No, God is continuing to lead me. Continuing to get me out of my comfort zone and love and live for Him. He's showing me new ways to use my mission minded heart, by digging deep into the community around me.
So I might not be living this crazy adventurous life like I use to, but I'm where God wants me. I don't doubt that one day I will be back in Europe or somewhere in the world living for Him, but for now I'm here and I'm happy to be in God's hands. That's all I need.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
