Lets Get Down To Buisness!
Well as quickly as September has left us, October is of coarse flying by. This month has already been jam packed, and I know things are only going to increase as we get closer to December. Thanks to the church I have been getting my weeks filled up with offers to work. Lots of scrubbing showers, changing diapers, and answering phones. Thankfully because of my odd job history I am not put off by handeling any of those random situations. But I am so thankful for the work, and especially for the compensation :)
There is a couple from my parents church who are in Poland now working with Sweet Surrender for a month while the main missionaries Ev & Rhonda Tustin are on leave. It has been so great hearing about Bob & Barbera's adventures so far. They have been keeping me updated, and giving me very specific descriptions on everything. They said they are scoping the place out for me. Ha. Fom there e-mails it is a lot like I had imagined it myself. They did say that it was already getting pretty cool there. Which I figured it would, but I slowly realizing that I have no idea what I am getting myself into with this kind of weather. Yeah it was freeezing in Albania, but that was because there was no heat. There wasnt below freezing temperatures and lots and lots of snow! So I am trying to come up with as much advice I can get on the best clothing items, and just how to handle it all. I sort of got a feel of that kind of winter when I was in Germany for a month two years ago. I defiantly realized tennis shoes will not cut it on icey/snowy roads. I fell on my face more times then I would like to repeat. If any of you have some thoughts on the matter please let me know!
Hope fall is treating you all wonderfully!
